| The blisteringly early start (0440 ex Carlisle) was a bit of downer, and 57601 screeching away on the back end all the way to Inverness was tiresome but the thrash, MY GOD!!!
46 minutes and 23 seconds of continuous full power after departing Inverness on the return trip - you HAD to be there. I have never experienced such relentless thrash anywhere. This was the best ever, and NOTHING will beat it, and before anybody asks me, yes it WAS worth flagging 37670 to do it! |
